Unified Messaging

Unified Messaging is e-mail, voicemail and fax integrated into one service and is available from one inbox. Encompass provides business-class messaging to each user with advanced features like auto-attendant, SPAM and virus filtering, and single number reach. You can access your voicemails from your e-mail client and vice versa (really, have your e-mail read to you from your mobile phone!). UM is an incredible productivity boost and you'll wonder how you ever got along without it.

Inbound Fax delivers fax transmissions to a user e-mail account for viewing as an image. The service delivers unlimited simultaneous fax connections. Users are allowed to choose a personal fax DID.

 

Web Portal

The Encompass Web Portal provides users secure access to their messaging, contacts, calendar, files and preferences from any Internet-connected computer.

Web Portal features include:

  • E-mail, voicemail and fax from a single inbox
  • Access to optional Calendaring
  • Contacts database and company directory
  • Click-to-Dial throughout portal
  • Call History for tracking inbound and outbound calls
  • Outlook integration: Microsoft Outlook can be used for the mail (UM) and calendaring client.
  • User definable preferences

 

Contact Center Services

The Encompass Contact Center is an optional suite of services providing a range of call center and agent applications. These services and applications provide enhanced responsiveness and streamlined customer exchanges to help your organization deliver superior customer service. The Encompass Contact Center services extend customer service capabilities across your entire organization, giving your business a more integrated and collaborative approach to customer satisfaction.

Calendaring

An optional component of Encompass, Calendaring provides personal, group and resource scheduling. Users can create meetings with meeting requests, manage conflicts, and view employee calendars. Calendaring is available via the Encompass Web Portal, via a dedicated Windows client, or through a Microsoft Outlook plugin.

 

Contacts & Directory

The Encompass Web Portal includes a Contacts database with group and personal lists, and a company directory, both with click-to-dial capability. Users can import their existing contacts into the portal contact database.
